Looking Forward to November

My living room is slowly coming together! It was raining when this sweater was delivered, so I sat down with my new favorite pillows and snapped some pictures.

I’m really looking forward to the month of November. For starters, theres a chili cook-off at the office that I can’t wait to win. Haha! Just kidding! I have been highly underestimated though, but only because I am still fairly new and my coworkers don’t know who I am… yet. I can’t wait to give them that southern belle treatment that my grandma passed down to me!

Then of course there is Thanksgiving! This year I am so blessed to host Thanksgiving at my own house! I get to gather both Adrian’s and my families together under one roof, and it just warms me up to think about all of our loved ones together eating good food and hanging out. The holidays have always been hard for us because we have family in Houston, Austin, and Dallas, so we are constantly on the road in a span of two days trying to see everyone that we can. I am so thankful that we get to stay in one city this year and still see all of our loved ones!

There’s also Friends-giving which is ALWAYS fun! Ya’ll, I highly suggest starting a Friends-giving if you haven’t already! Being around the goofballs who make you laugh, are there for your ups and downs, and being able to count all of your blessing with them is something so special. I wish I could say that I have never taken one of my friends for granted, but I would be lying. I love being around them in one place and showing them my gratitude for always being there for me. Plus, food!

I have more good things in store this month that I can’t wait to share with you later! God has really opened doors for me that I didn’t even know where there. He is another thing I am abundantly grateful for!

This month, I am going to focus on every blessing 2016 has brought me, and say thank you for one thing (probably more) everyday.

What do you have planned for this month?
