January Beauty Favorites

Bye January! You were good to me! Let’s not jinx it, ok? Ok 😀

Hey y’all! First of all, I need to post a Cozumel/Progreso Cruise blog and I know it! I’m on it, I swear. Adrian has all the pictures organized on a hard drive somewhere. I’ll find it!

Today, I want to do something I’ve never done and share some beauty favs. Let me know if you enjoy this, please? I  personally love seeing what other ladies are using and most likely will give their favorite products a try. I  want to revamp my blog this year and be more active with beauty!

To start I have to talk about Morphe. Again. If ya’ll STILL have not tried Morphe then I truly don’t know what else to say to you. Please guess how much this pallet is. Guess. It has 35 impeccable, highly pigmented shades. The metallics only need one swipe, and the mattes stay on all day. So, guess how much this is? 50? 40? NO. IT’S $23.00 AT ULTA RIGHT NOW. 23 bucks for 35 hella pigmented shades is INSANE people. I LOVE Morphe, and I just want to take a second to congratulate the owner. I’ve loved you and your brand for 5 years and you made it to Ulta, girl. I’m so proud of you!!

When I saw this pallet at Ulta I didn’t even hesitate. I just bought it. I know some (or most) of you will see the colors and think OMG THEY ARE SO BRIGHT I CAN’T USE IT! Let me just say, look up some Youtube Tutorials on this pallet. It’s called Morphe 350 Nature Glow. You’ll be able to use ALL of these colors and not look like a clown, I  promise. I love using this pallet for bonze smokey eyes, or smokey eyes in general. It’s perfect for fall/winter! Ugh. It’s amazing!

Next is my holy grail of, “I don’t have time/want to put foundation on today, but I want to put foundation on today” foundations. It! Cosmetics Air Brush Perfecting Powder. Ever since Estee Lauder bought this brand they have really blown up. They are everywhere, and everyone loves them. Don’t believe me? Read every review (there are thousands). Time and time again this brand has proven that they are the new skin perfecting, blemish concealing, flawless powerhouse of makeup. This little guy is a powder that melts onto your skin like butter. It’s a light coverage for those days when you don’t feel like caking on foundation, and boasts 50 SPF. I use the shade Medium if anyone wants to know! I just brush a little all over my face, add blush and mascara, and I’m good to go. It evens my skin tone and covers my blemishes flawlessly!

Ah, this little guy has rocked my world. I found it for 60% off at Nordstrom Rack ($20), and I thought, ehh, why not? What a lucky find this was! This foundation is FLAWLESS. Covered everything with one coat and doesn’t move an inch. This is 30% off at bobbibrowncosmetics.com, but see if you can order it from Nordstrom Rack first. I wear the shade 4.5 Natural Tan.  I can’t wait to try this in the summertime. When I first put it on with my damp beauty blender, I could feel how well it was holding on to my skin. I have oily skin, so for me, this is perfect. It’s a bit too much to use on a “no make up” kind of day, but I would use it for going out, special events, or just wanting to feel like Beyonce!

This is my go-to scent. I wear it 95% of the time. I have the full bottle, and I’ve used it daily for almost 4 years now. It’s maybe 3/4ths gone? You only need a couple of sprays on the wrist, rub it in, and you’re all set! I love it because it’s feminine, but strong. I know that sounds goofy, but that’s the best way I know how to describe it! It boasts hints of floral, earthy, and citrus tones. I LOVE it.

Ok your turn! What have you been loving this month? Anything new? Maybe a Christmas present? Who has the Jaclyn Hill Morphe pallet?? Do you love it! Let me know what you think I  should try!
