Tis the season for deep reds, sparkling jewel tones, and bold metallics!
I don’t really do a lot of makeup looks, but hey, I created this blog so that it can be a creative outlet! And this post is all about my favorite eyeshadow… Mac Cranberry! Its the prettiest pop of color on the eye and I love wearing it during the fall and winter.
I did a quick little tutorial on the look below! Let me know what you think, and if you’d like to see more!
I used a mix of Taupe and Mauve in the crease and blended 3 or 4 times throughout. Use Cream to blend out the dark Espresso and Cranberry. Holding your brush near the end of the handle is key to applying light strokes when blending.
Let me know if you’d like me to do a talk through next time!
This is also my everyday foundation/face make up routine. I just discovered Born This Way by Tarte Cosmetics and it’s my new ride or die. It’s 100% matte which is perfect for my oily skin. I have to set all of my makeup to prevent it from creasing, and I use NYX matte powder to do that.
Also, shout out to my girl Jaclyn Hill’s Champagne Pop! Best highlight on the planet, and I am not just saying that. I used that to highlight the inner corners of my eyes, my brow bone, and the tops of my cheeks. Muah!
Here’s a close up of the shadow:
Isn’t it so gorgeous? It’s perfect for the holidays!
I even glammed it up a little but more with a pop of red lipstick.
