I’m bout to spam this post with the many awesome pictures I took that I am so proud of. Brace yourself.
Fun fact: I used to hate coconut flavored anything. Those Girl Scout cookies where a no from me, coconut curry, coconut smelling anything, ugh, no no no.
Now, out of the blue (damn right that’s a pun), I love it. I love the smell of it because it reminds me of the beach. I could eat 5 boxes of those Girl Scout cookies in a single setting, and if the cake has coconut flakes on it, slather me in it and call me Polly. Why Polly you ask? No clue.
My new favorite soda-drink is Sonic’s ocean water. I typically get the diet kind and only so often because I’m trying to put good things in my body, but every now and then I do the full sugar drink and enjoy every last drop.
Now I have the recipe and I can whip this up anytime I like! Which is handy because when the bra comes off at the end of the day, I don’t want to go anywhere.
- 3 Tbsp water
- 3 Tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp Coconut Extract
- 2- 12 oz Cans of Sprite/7up
- Blue Food Coloring
- In a small microwave safe bowl stir water and sugar together. Heat for 30 to seconds or until sugar is dissolved.
- Pour into a pitcher and stir in soda, coconut extract, and food coloring. Mix it up real good!
- Serve over crushed ice! You can go to Sonic and buy their ice! Luckily for me, my office has the same ice maker that sonic uses, so I brought some of it home!
